Bar Chairs

Looking for a way to freshen up and upgrade your dining area or kitchen? Pair up your counter height table with our wide range of bar stools to get the makeover you want! Not sure which one to choose? Don't worry, we've got something for everyone.

Leather, Fabric or Wooden Stools?

Let's start with the basics of every chair - the seat and its material. There are quite a few options, but every material has its own strong suits. Polyester fabric upholstery, for example, is easy to take care of and requires little to no maintenance to last for many years. Faux leather padding is durable and definitely more luxurious, giving the stool a sophisticated look. If the seat is wooden, it is more firm and is easier to clean.

Other materials, such as synthetics or metal are also easy to clean, but they don't have other strong points, so it all comes down to the preferences - if you like having an upholstered seat or not.

Besides the seat material, there is also slight variety in legs' materials - most common when it comes to stools is a single metal leg, equipped with a footrest, which ups the comfortability of the chair. But it isn't the only option. There are wooden legs, which often contrast with a colourful seat, or more traditional, four-legged frame, crafted out of steel. They also often come with a footrest but don't have the swivel function.

Chair Featuring Swivel Function

That's also very common when it comes to bar stools - they offer a 360-degree swivel, which allows you to turn around while sitting. When the seat is swivelled, it also has an adjustable height function - so even if your table is taller - or smaller than the chair, you can adjust it in no time!

Other stools are equipped with different features. For example, some of them can be stacked, so if you get two or more of the same type, you can put one on top of the other when they aren't needed, saving space in return. A great deal of our stools are also equipped with floor protection caps, so you can move them around without worrying about damaging your hardwood floor.

Styles of Counter Height Chairs

Now that you know all about materials and additional features, you might be asking yourself a very important question - which bar stool will fit my interior?

For starters, look for metal stools without backrests if you are going for an industrial look. They are very stark, but are available in a variety of colours, so they can liven up the area if you go for a yellow or red one.

If your kitchen is modern - try picking the faux leather stools, preferably in black or grey. Their sophisticated backrests draw attention and enrich the area. For Scandinavian or minimalist areas, select a stool with wooden legs or those with beige or white upholstery - you'll fall in love with them in no time!

So as you can see, there are lots of options, combinations and possibilities. But no matter which one you choose, a stool (or a set of them) will become a vital part of your dining area or kitchen.
