Foam and Latex Mattresses

You already have a bed of your dreams, a piece that fits your bedroom. The other particularly important thing you need to have, is a comfortable mattress.

It factors into how rested you are after a sleep, but that's not the only reason choosing a perfect mattress is so significant. There are quite a few differences between latex and foam, so let's look at them:

You already have a bed of your dreams, a piece that fits your bedroom. The other particularly important thing you need to have, is a comfortable mattress. There are two basic types: foam and latex mattresses.

Firm and Soft Mattresses

Foam mattresses are often chosen by couples - two people can lie down on a mattress, and thanks to motion absorption, they won't interrupt each other's sleep. Sound absorption also helps, if your partner is snoring for example, making the night much quieter. Thanks to the foam layer, the mattress adapts to the body’s shape, bringing relief for a tired back. Even though latex mattresses are firmer, they still are quite bouncy, and can also reshape themselves according to the way your body is built. They don't offer that feeling of sinking into the mattress, which for some is an advantage. Latex mattresses are usually colder, making them better for people who tend to overheat at night.
